Website Builder Sections

In this topic, you will learn about the sections available in the Website Builder. Sections are the building blocks of your Website Builder experience. You can add, arrange, and combine sections to create your desired layout.

Adding a section

To add sections to your experience, follow these steps:

  1. On the right panel, click the add section icon.
  2. Select your section from the panel.
  3. The new section will appear at the bottom of the page.

Video Sections

The Website Builder offers the following video section types. For detailed information on each video section, see Video Sections.

Single Video Section
Displays a single video prominently. Ideal for highlighting a specific piece of content.
Hero Section
A full-width video display that shows a single video or collection prominently, typically used at the top of a page.
Carousel Section
A horizontal scrolling row that displays multiple videos from a collection as thumbnails with titles and metadata.
Vertical Video Section
A section designed for vertical format videos (9:16 aspect ratio), optimized for short-form vertical video content.

General Sections

The Website Builder offers the following general section types. For detailed information on each, see General Sections.

Headline Section
A text section for adding titles and headings to your page with configurable heading levels (H1–H6).
Text Block Section
A section for adding body text and paragraphs for descriptions or instructions.
Embed Code Section
A section for adding custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for third-party content or custom widgets.

Widgets

Agenda Widget
Displays an event schedule with session times, titles, and descriptions for virtual events. See Agenda Widget for more information.
People Widget
Displays profiles of speakers, presenters, or team members in a grid layout. To learn more, see People Widget.

Customizing Sections

To customize sections, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over a section to see the options available.
    1. Settings
    2. Delete Section
    3. Move the section up or down
  2. Select the option you want to use.
  3. After confirming (if necessary) the action will be reflected in the experience.

Deleting Sections

To delete a section, hover over the section and click the trash/delete icon that appears on the bottom right. The section will be removed from your page immediately.
