Embed Builder Sections

In this topic, you will learn about the sections available in the Embed Builder. Sections are the building blocks of your Embed Builder experience. You can add, arrange, and combine sections to create your desired layout.

Adding a section

To add sections to your experience, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Add a section + button in the editor canvas.
  2. The available sections will appear in the right panel organized into three categories: General, Video, and Widgets.
  3. Click on a section to add it. The new section will appear at the bottom of your experience.

Video Sections

The Embed Builder offers the following video section types. For detailed information, see Video Sections.

Single Video Section
Displays a single video with its title, description, and a related link. Ideal for highlighting a specific piece of content such as a product announcement, promotional video, or featured content.
Vertical Videos Carousel
A section designed for vertical format videos (9:16 aspect ratio), optimized for short-form vertical video content with swipe-based navigation for browsing multiple clips.

General Sections

The Embed Builder offers the following general section types. For detailed information on each, see General Sections.

Headline Section
A text section for adding titles and headings to your experience with configurable heading levels (H1–H6).
Text Block Section
A section for adding body text and paragraphs for descriptions or instructions.
Embed Code Section
A section for adding custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for third-party content or custom widgets.

Widgets

Agenda Widget
A widget that displays an event schedule showing session times, titles, and descriptions for virtual events. Hover over the widget and select one of your existing agendas. See Agenda Widget for more information.
People Widget
A widget that displays profiles of speakers, presenters, or team members in a grid layout. The People widget allows you to select from previously created people profiles or add new ones. You can search, select, edit, or delete existing people from your library. To learn more, see People Widget.

Customizing Sections

To customize sections, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over a section to see the options available.
    1. Settings
    2. Delete Section
    3. Move the section up or down
  2. Select the option you want to use.
  3. After confirming (if necessary) the action will be reflected in the experience.

Deleting Sections

To delete a section, hover over the section and click the trash/delete icon that appears on the bottom right. The section will be removed from your experience immediately.
